A proposal you can price a job from
Not a ballpark over the phone and not a single lump sum. Four things, in writing, against your drawings or your site.
-
Scope, by element
Every element separated: panels, framing, fixings, flashings, substructure. What is included and what is specifically excluded.
-
Material and finish spec
Substrate, gauge, profile, finish system and colour, named to the product. If your spec nominates something we would question, you hear why before you order.
-
Lead time, three durations
Shop drawing, fabrication and install as separate numbers, so you can place them against your construction program.
-
Install method
How it gets fixed, what access is assumed, and what has to be in place before we get to site.
The proposal is yours. Use it for a budget estimate, a tender submission or a comparison. There is no obligation attached to it.
Drawn, made and installed here
One contractor accountable from shop drawing to handover. Buildability and fixing detail get raised in the proposal, not discovered on site.
Drawn
Shop drawings for your approval, worked from your drawings and spec.
Made
Fabricated in our own workshop. No third party in the middle.
Installed
Fitted by Exterior Corp's own crews, through to handover.

Straight answers
Do you price from drawings, or do you need a site visit?
Both are used. Drawings and a specification are enough for a proposal. Where access, substrate or existing structure is the unknown, a site visit is arranged before the numbers are issued.
Can you work to our specification?
Yes. Where the nominated system or detail raises a buildability or compatibility issue, it is raised in the proposal with the reasoning, not left to be discovered on site.
Is fabrication subcontracted?
No. Design, manufacture and installation are handled in-house by Exterior Corp, so one contractor is accountable for the element from shop drawing to handover.
What does the proposal cost?
Nothing, and it carries no obligation. The proposal is yours to use for a budget, a tender or a comparison.
It's only budget stage. Is that worth sending?
Yes. Say it's budget stage in the form and the response is scoped as an indicative rate rather than a firm proposal.
How far ahead do you book?
Lead times are given per project in the proposal, with shop drawing, fabrication and install as separate durations, rather than quoted as a general figure here.
